Lines has informed me that the HLE and their coalition of freedom fighters will only be involved when we mess with the NatComs in Hylis, although I guess Carpathia has other interests in the region (Kolhar). So the Mainland Phase can go on without a hitch most likely. I'll take charge in the Hylis Phase when we come to that, although right now, regime change is the only casus belli I'm seeing lol.

Regarding the territorial division, in hindsight I find your assessment to be correct; SA looks like an ugly thumb sticking out if Adwest went for it. I'll prefer the original West-East bisection actually, but what would Arrenland say if Adwest requested a seaside enclave in your part of SA?

By the way, when we first conceived Falsea in the old forums, it retained its socialist republic status and was supposed to be Nordic or something. Would that suit you better?

If Aeriland wants drilling and mining rights in the western coastline, I think Arrenland should be the one they ought consult with since that'll be their sphere once the partitions of Cynas, SA, and Falsea are done. If in the eastern coastline though....Aeriland better send tribute to the Adwestene Queen. e_e ...or at least be friendly again.

Falsea's government doesn't really matter to me all that much, at least not now. It might become more relevant when we come up with specifics for how we plan on doing the partition. However, if it is a socialist republic, then that might draw in some other socialist countries, as Soya has said above. It might even bring Carpathia in sooner (which might not necessarily be a bad thing).

Indeed, Soyabar is willing to spread socialism by force, not necesarely "soyabarianism" but it would be willing to fight alongside socialist forces even if iy would be fightning the HLE in a direct conflict and seeing as soyabar thinks that the HLE are its bestest friends would be huge for soyabar

Alright, so I guess we should start brainstorming for how, specifically, we will go about the Mainland Campaign.

Here's my suggestion:

Adwest, using whatever justifications they have (blood ties/territorial claims/etc.), invades Sindar-Astrasia. Arrenland, with its new interventionist government, decides to intervene by invading Sindar-Astrasia as well, supposedly to keep the Adwestenes in check. Then, Arrenland invades Falsea for much the same reason (to make sure the Adwestenes don't get it first), and Adwest, in response, invades Falsea to make sure they at least get a piece of it.

Sometime during or after all of this, Taeunas makes their move on Cynas.

Keep in mind that all of these actions will be surrounded with feel-good rhetoric about how we're protecting the people of the nation we're invading from the other, etc. etc.

@Rom: do you want to have Aeriland involved during this stage? Such as, do you want to have Aeriland provide military/financial/material support to Arrenland during these first invasions, or would you rather wait until the Hylis campaign or for a possible intervention by Soyabar and/or Carp during the Falsea campaign?

Keep in mind, soyabar will send its toughest soliders in first. Taking as oocly I want to make the IIL (Immortal Imperial Legion,based on the french foreign legion) as some force to be of the reputation of being unbeatable. In RP that means that I try to make them the "no surrender, no retreat" and make them look like "the devil" is behind them because of it.

The normal army will arrive soon after that and is just a regular army mind you

I think we ought to do an IC conference thread where we make all of our evil plans. For Arrenland's part, they want the whole thing to remain a secret, so they will not be sending any high-level public figures to the conference. They will probably be sending some shady, behind-the-scenes type representative.

Where should we hold the conference? Maybe somewhere that is roughly in between all of us, like Kalstad or Aran.
