Solhaven
From the days of nine squabbling city-states in west central Kvaenna to the end of the Confederacy and the rise of the Federation, Solhaven has been one of the most rapidly changing nations in the entire world. Though still underdeveloped and lacking the military power to project itself around the world, Solhaven has still managed to emerge as a significant regional power in a fractious Kvaennan continent. The Federation's future is determinant on what policies its government adopts in the very near future. With the nation still teetering back and forward between further the forces of unification and dissolution and outside events threatening to tip the balance one way or the other, Solhaven could very well be at the forefront of world affairs in the coming years.

Solhaven is, however, rising. Its military is starting to expand, the economic ship finally being righted, and the new Parliament appears ready to stay to govern. Solfleet has been designing new sea and aircraft to strengthen its military power, and is rising in influence in the national government. A general election in 1600 will be the best indicator of the path that the Federation will embark on in the coming years.

Angiris

The legendary Angirisian civilization has withstood trials and tribulations, surviving over 1,500 years amongst a world that has changed in its balance and makeup many times over. At one time, Angiris held the mantle of world power, but those days have long since passed. Even an ancient civilization such as Angiris has to evolve sometime. One of the top ten economies in the world and with a powerful military that showed that Angiris can still flex its muscle with a victory and subsequent annexation of the Galasian realm of Alsace, the Dominion has proved it is still a force to be reckoned with in the northern Near East. But even as the Dominion government and Emperor Albrecht seem to have a solid hold on the nation, cracks have begun to emerge in the molds. A rising republican sentiment threatens to upend the long Pax Angirisia, militant powers in Carpathia and unrest in Wadiyah and Kyrzbekistan disturbing the world peace, and a strengthening West Brigidnan Union coming together to combat the influence of Lanlania and Nyland in the world order all seems to point to an eventual eruption, and the Angirisian Dominion seems to be destined to be caught in the middle of the whole maelstrom.

The Angirisian Dominion still possesses a great deal of power and influence in modern Siora, but even it has its limits. The Dominion military is still one of the finest in the world, and government fiscal responsibility has led to an economic boom. Continued innovation and forward thinking will continue this boom, and it also could be the only way the Angirisian way of life survives for another millennia. As a new century dawns, the Angirisians have a lot to ponder and a lot to lose.

Romulus

The Romulan Republic is incredibly young by Sioran standards, being barely more than forty-five years old. However, the Romulan people are still one of the most tested and yet enigmatic in the entire world. With a society that is believed to be at least several centuries old and spread out amongst several different regions and continents, Romulans have always looked to the future with hopes and dreams. Scientific research and development has been the hallmark of Romulan society since its inception, yet it has not translated to a powerful people dominating the world. Rather, the Romulans developed an odd inward feeling, largely distrustful of foreign entities and simply wanting to be left alone. Though aware of world events, Romulus simply did not care. In a way, a bubble developed over the city and its outlying countryside. As the world grew and nations rose and fell, Romulus watched and waited. With the world seemingly in flux and a new world order beginning to emerge, the Romulans felt now was the time to emerge as a player in the world. But, it would seem almost contradictory to Romulan tradition of isolationism. With the establishment of the Republic in 1555, Romulan strength began to show itself.

Little is known about the true strength of the military or economy of Romulus, considering the great deal of isolationism the Romulans put up around them. But what can be said is that the Romulans are a remarkably shrewd people, and it is very possible that the world in general will begin to see the true strength of the Romulan Republic. This new century could tell the story...
