It is open now the registration for Grand Tour teams and national teams for the 1588-1589 seasons.

As usual, you must send me your applications as a PM (private message) in the forums. You can find the application template in the first post of this thread. I have added two "Guide of Cycling" introductions to help you to make better teams.

If you have already a professional team from previous seasons, but you don't care much about the details, you can simply send me a list of riders (with at least name & nationality) and they will be added to your existing teams.

The registration will be closed in 10 days, on November 26th. If you have any question, you can ask me through PM.

As a bonus prize, the first person to send his team(s) will organize the 1588 Cycing World Championship (only counting full applications).

I won't continue posting the results on detail in the wiki, though, as it took a lot time and, honestly, it was a bit boring. I will be posting a summary as media article, updating the basic information in the main wiki articles, and maybe posting some summary results somewhere in the forum (in case anyone prefer plain data over writing).

The number of teams are going to be reduced to 22 teams in total, just for making things easily, the rest of rules and norms will continue as before. Very importantly those player-nation teams which existed before may disappear if no new players are supplied as mentioned above. This is not supposed to be a literal rule, but rather a way to make space for newer teams (and eventually maybe to reduce to a total of 18 teams...but this probably won't happen before 1595). For that reason, I list the player-nations which had a team for the 1592 season:

Hilly, there are very few (if any) flat, non-undulating roads in Videjszeme. Nereta is a city situated in a high-elevation valley near the headwaters of a river, surrounded on all sides by some of the continent's highest mountains. Cycling races in Nereta (as well as around the country) take full advantage of these natural features, forcing riders to test their mettle against their steep inclines and sharp descents.

Info about cycling, both professional and amateur, in your country: Videjszeme has a small (and very competitive) professional cycling group, and a massive (for Videjszeme) amateur cycling scene that enjoys great attention within the country. In both cases, cycling as a sport is one of the country's more recognizable pastimes, spurred into popularity by the nearly unparalleled prominence of cycling as a hobby within the country; most people regularly ride bicycles as day-to-day transportation, as many roads - both in cities but especially the countryside - are too narrow to make regular convenient use of automobiles.
