The last time a Nerysian rider had won a Grand Tour was in 1564.

Etora, Ceribia - Nerysian rider Munderic Aidas (Nenergo) won the 1599 Ceribian Tour. He becomes the third Nerysian rider to win the Ceribian Tour, after Kurt von Althoff (1535 and 1537) and Jan Schrieber (1564).

The Nerysian rider proved the strongest and consistent rider in both the high mountain and against the clock.

Kyrzbekistani Damir Zagipur (KyrzAir) was second at one minute and two seconds. It is the second Grand Tour podium for the Kyrzbek climber after he was third in the 1598 Tour de Valland.

Another Nerysian rider, Godomar Guur (MTS-BIassoni) was third at two minutes and thirteen seconds.

Ceribian Irakli Kapanadze (BataVelo) won the Mountain classification.

Ulrick Vandenhof wins 1600 Tour de Valland

Vandenhof gave the third Tour de Valland to Vallish team Télecon.

Lauren, Valland - Soyabarian climber Ulrick Vandenhof (Télecon Team) won the 1600 Tour de Valland.

Télecon Team becomes the first team to win the Tour de Valland twice in a row with two different riders, following Roman Herzogenrath win in 1599.

Vandenhof won his first Grand Tour, after being second in both the Tour of West Brigidna and the Tour de Valland in 1598. In 1599, he was 34th in the Tour de Valland, serving as a domestique for Roman Herzogenrath.

Vandenhof also won a stage and the Mountain classification, completing a great season in Valland in which he also won the Roune Classic and the Leroux Classic, two prestigious one-day races.

Ceribian climber Pharnavaz Undiladze (Bagdati) was second at three minutes and fifty-six seconds, his third podium in the Tour de Valland after finishing second in 1596 and winning the 1598 Tour de Valland. Therefore, it will be the second time that Undiladze and Vandenhof share the podium in Lauren, although this time in an opposite order.

Svarnan climber Amrit Mallaya (Abbott Cycling), who lost the second place to Undiladze by only three seconds in the final individual time-trial stage, finished third at three minutes and fifty-nine seconds.

Nerysian Jarik Nytar (BataVelo) was fourth at four minutes and fifty-nine seconds, while the 1600 Tour of West Brigidna winner, Keszarian Adam Sandor (Velomax) finished fifth at five minutes and forty-nine seconds. Sandor showed a great performance and was close several times to win a stage, but probably paid the effort in the Tour of West Brigidna in the last days.

Dyrheimer climber Roman Herzogenrath (Télecon  Team) lost too much time in the first week and the first ITT which would leave him out of the fight even for the podium. Still, he won a high mountain stage and helped Vandenhof to consolidate his lead in the final high mountain stage.

Ceribian Irakli Maisuradze (Magram) won the Youth classification.

Vallish sprinter Antoine Duchesnay (NDM) won four stages and the Points classification for second time. He found his main rival in the mass sprint in Mordvanian Miroslav Gradishar (Iskra) who won three stages.

Saratov captain Masha Bondarchuk, facing two Kave rivals.

Halvadag, HLE - Saratov won their second SIFA Women's World Cup, after defeating Kave 2-0 in Halvadag.

It's the second World Cup title for Saratov, which won their first World Cup in 1584. After drawing their first two matches against Magentina and Arrenland, many feared that Saratov would repeat the fate of the 1596 World Cup, when Saratov was not able to advance beyond the group stage. However, Saratov defeated precisely Kave 2-1, not without problems, to advance to the round 16 as first in their group.

After defeating Karjelinn in an as entertaining as chaotic match, Saratov struggled to defeat Mordvania and Sequoia in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively, before facing Kave again in the final. It was the second World Cup final for Kave, which lost in 1596 in Goldecia against the host team.

Unlike their previous match in group stages, Saratov was able to control the match, and Kave was not able to threaten Saratov except in a few isolated counter-attacks. Saratov wasn't able to open the score until minute 51, when Masha Bondarchuk scored, assisted by Zhanna Onopka.

Kave seemed to react the following minutes, with several chances to score the 1-1. However, Saratov were able to slow down the match, probably as consequence of the fatigue of their rivals, as Kave won in the extra time in their three last matches, while Saratov did not.

Nina Kolotushkina decided the match in the minute 81, after a long play. In the last minutes, there were barely one clear chance for each team, until the referee blew his whistle for last time, and Saratovian played could celebrated their World Cup title.

Borge Hedegaard returns to the Mordvanian Premier League
By Milan Barancek

Borge Hedegaard has signed up for two seasons.

Slovograd, Republic of Mordvania - Mordvanian football club NK Slovograd has officially announced the signing of Oslanburgan manager Borge Hedegaard for the next two seasons.

It has been rumoured for weeks that manager Bozidar Adamic may leave the club after a disappointing season, although the signing of Hedegaard came as a relatively surprise as he was not the main name mentioned by Slovograd newspapers in the last week.

It will be the second adventure for Hedegaard, who managed FK Mazenskai for five seasons, from 1586 to 1591, in the Mordvanian Premier League. During his tenure in Mazenskai, Hedegaard won two league titles  -the first one in his first season in FK Mazenskai, which had never won the Mordvanian Premier League before, and a second one in the 1589-1590 season- and runner-up three times in the Republican Cup.

In the last two seasons, Hedegaard has been managing a Nylander football club.

Hedegaard replaces Mordvanian manager Bozidar Adamic, who failed to win a title for NK Slovograd in his two seasons as manager.

NK Slovograd is the most important and richest club in Mordvania, winning 12 Mordvanian Premier League titles since 1570. However, the club has experienced a lack of results in the last seasons.

NK Slovograd won the Mordvanian Premier League for last time in the 1595-1596, under manager Danilo Zitnik -who currently manages NK Slovograd main city rival, the Slovograd 1566-, and it has not won the Republican Cup since 1591.

Hedegaard will become the fourth NK Slovograd manager in the last five seasons. In the last four seasons, NK Slovograd finished fourth in the Mordvanian Premier League, failed to advance beyond the quarterfinals in the Republican Cup as well.

The news of Hedegaard signing has been received positively, although many have criticized Hodegaard's tactics, as his tenure as FK Mazensaki, although successful, was considered to play a too defensive and rough football at the time. There seen to be a division of opinions in Mazenskai, as FK Mazenskai and NK Slovograd have an intense rivalry.

Almas Cingur confirms his retirement late this season
By Pia Chamberlain

Almas Cingur will be likely remembered as one of the greatest climbers in recent cycling history.

Ayduramazan, Kyrzbekistan - Kyrzbekistani climber Almas Cingur (KyrzAir) has announced his retirement from professional cycling after the Tour of Kyrzbekistan, late this season.

The 37-year old Kyrzbekistani climber has been one of the most successful riders of his generation, is considered the greatest Kyrzbekistani rider in cycling history, and became the second Kyrzbekistani rider to win the Tour de Valland (1595), after Gjöke Kelmend, who won in 1571.

Besides his 1595 victory in the Tour de Valland, Cingur also won twice the Ceribian Tour (1591, 1592), finishing nine times in a Grand Tour podium between 1591 and 1595. He found in Adwestene Eden Grace Weatherhead one of the main rivalries of the last decades, finishing four times runner between 1592 and 1595, and defeating Weatherhead in 1594. He also won the Tour de Valland Mountain classification twice, and won individual stages as well.

Besides his success in the Tour de Valland and the Ceribian Tour, he also won another Global Tour races, such as the Tour of Keszaria (1589), the Mordvanian Week (1592), the Criterium de Ventmont (1592, 1596), Videjszeme Classic (1592), Tour of Nentsia (1594), or the Tour of Kyrzbekistan (1595).

Unlike other Kyrzbekistani riders in the past, Almas Cingur rode his whole career in the same team, KyrzAir, a Kyrzbekistani cycling team currently sponsored by Kyrzbekistan's state-owned airline. In the last seasons, Cingur focused in fighting for individual stages in the Ceribian Tour and Tour de Valland while helping younger teammates such as Enver Dushku and Damir Zagipur in the general classification.

Cingur has declared that he hasn't decided about his future outside the peloton yet, but that he expects that he will continue being involved in cycling in a way or another.

A Look to the 1601 season
By Richard W. Wallace

Sylvestre Richeliu, a future Tour de Valland winner? Vallish fans hope so

Pip Sports Network - As the cycling season is about to finish, Pip Sports offers our readers, as we do every year, a list of riders to follow in the 1601 season. Who will be the unexpected winner? ...the rider to consolidate his status in the peloton? ...the promising rider which missed his last chance? Pip Sports Network deputy director, Richard W. Wallace, with more than thirty years of experience covering the Tour de Valland and other cycling races, will try to offer an answer to such questions.

Adam Sandor (32) - The Keszarian rider will be the oldest rider in the list this year, but in his first season as team leader, he didn't disappoint at all: after winning the 1600 Tour of West Brigidna and a good Tour de Valland, in which he finished fifth, he has gained the right to be considered one of the favourites the next season.

Ulrick Vandenhof (29) - We don't usually include the Tour de Valland winner in these lists, but one of the big questions for the next season is if the Soyabarian climber will repeat the level he showed in the last Tour de Valland, where he did not find rival in the main high mountain stages. It is true that he won't have it easy, as the 1601 Tour de Valland will have fewer kilometres on high mountain than this season Tour. In the case it is confirmed that he leaves the Télecon Team after four seasons (he was been rumoured to have been in negotiations with teams such as MTS, Scholden-Gulcron, or Mordvelo), it would be unclear as well how changing of team may affect his performance in the next season.

Sylvestre Richelieu (25) - If Vandenhof finally leaves Télecon Team, it is expected that the role of the young Vallish rider -who was key in Vandenhof's win in the last Tour de Valland- will increase. Richelieu, who surprised in 1599 winning a stage and finishing 9th while serving as a domestique for Roman Herzogenrath, is not likely to offer his best results in the Tour de Valland -it has been rumoured that he may consider leading Télecon Team in the Tour of West Brigidnan instead-, but Vallish fans have big hopes on him, after 16 years without a Vallish winner in the most important Grand Tour.

Melker Rausing (30) - The Galeaen sprinter, after being second in the World Championship Road Race for second time in a row, may face a decisive season in 1601 in his career if he doesn't want to be remembered as a sprinter who was close to win many times, but was rarely able to do so.

Osvald Jokumsen (26) - The Oslanburgan sprinter confirmed himself as more than a promise in 1600, after winning his first individual stage in the Tour de Valland, as well as winning the Tour of Kaffau, the Badenburg Classic, or the Richard Malone Classic. He could be one of the sprinters of the year in 1601.

Kjeld Povlsen (29) - Jokumsen's teammate and countryman Kjeld Povlsen seemed to stop his status as eternal promise after finishing second in the 1600 Ceribian Tour. However, it remains to be seen if he could show the same kind of performance in the Tour de Valland, where his results have been rather disappointing.

Jarik Nytar (31) - After finishing fourth in the last Tour de Valland, the Nerysian rider could be one of the favourites in the 1601 Tour de Valland, this time with the role of team leader since the first stage, unlike previous seasons. Although we don't predict that it is likely that he will finish in Lauren wearing the red jersey -we see riders such as Herzogenrath, Vandenhof, or Kalnins as more serious contenders- we can certainly see him achieving a place in the podium.

Damir Zagipur (24) - After the retirement of Almas Cingur and his teammate Enver Dushku leaving to Vançotte Team, Zagipur is expected to lead his team in the 1601 Tour de Valland. Despite finishing third in 1599, he probably needs more time to become the third Kyrzbekistani rider to win the Tour de Valland, but we expect him to be one of the most active riders in the high mountain stages.

Irakli Maisuradze (25) - Although he is expected to serve as a domestique for Jevgenijs Kalnins in the Tour de Valland, 1601 could be the season of his confirmation for the Ceribian rider, after finishing 13th and winning the Youth classification in 1600.

Cesar Spinoza (24) - The Lomarran sprinter was one of the surprises of 1600, after winning the Mestarka Classic and Heldenstadt Classic. Although he is still expected to help his teammate Richard Deiss in many races, we would not be surprised if the disciple overcomes the professor in 1601.
