Aion is the name of the planet that our RP nations inhabit in this setting. For all purposes except geological and climatological, its makeup is identical to that of Earth. Its history and inhabitants, however, are anything but typical; humans are not native to the planet, and its heterogenious mix of ethnic groups scattered across the world in a patchwork quilt of varieties tells the story of the artificial seeding done to the planet in ages long past. The world is young, and though flora and fauna familiar to Earth have established across Aion, it still holds many alien secrets. Though technically all one supercontinent, three continental masses divide the world into three separate regions based largely on their climate and the biospheres that inhabit them:

Joining the Aion RP Setting

First, be sure to have read the Starter Guide and the RP Rules for Aion. Then, just copy+paste+fill the following form, and plonk it in this thread. It's that simple.

Afterwards, go to the Statistics Spreadsheet and add the requested information for your new country in the green columns for your country. Be aware that the population and GDPpc you fill in may change after Directorate review. Please keep the information in English; whatever you do for your country is up to you and we look forward to the special imaginary people you create, but maps and data are in normal English, so do what you must to translate it to something readable & pronounceable by everyone else.

Please note that any reference to real Earth locations are for geography only, not cultures or ethnicities; unlike Siora, ethnicities on Aion are not tied to specific areas and may be scattered across the map.

Common name of State: Mestra or the Imperium

Economic Development: Developed, similar to the development level of the United Kingdom, Japan, or South Korea. A very tech oriented nation.

Brief description of your country
The Imperium is a absolute monarchy with some powers deligated to an Imperial Senate. Local governing areas are controlled by citizen elected parliaments. The Imperial Crown controls all of the public utilities (power, water, internet, etc) often seems as a mean for control. There is a state controlled healthcare system, but most other things are controlled by the public sector. The Imperium is a technologically and researched focused nation. Spending vast resources in development of new technologies and their eventual marketing to the world economy. The culture is partially community/family driven but there is a growing individualistic movement growing. the culture would be similar to British/Italian based type of culture. A love of food and sport and entertainment all fueled by technology. The Imperium is focused primarily on trade through services utilizing cloud computing, internet hosting server farms, computers, mobile phones, and general technology production (think UK/US/Japan/South Korea). The nation uses its vast natural resources of rare earth minerals to make these technological leaps, there are some questions on environmental conditions of mining such minerals, but the nation remains focused on maintaining the environment, undermining some corporate profit.
