Well I was hoping to do something with Virginia, creating an empire or something in the southern United States and try to expand into the Great Lakes.

That said, there does seem to be an opportunity for a Native-dominated nation in the Great Lakes territory. Specifically, if my history is correct, the Shawnee were prevalent in Ohio and Indiana during this time period. In an alternate history, I would want the Shawnee to seek to unite the different tribes and nations around the Great Lakes. Or maybe the Iroquois? I dunno. So that's it, either something with Virginia or the Great Lakes.
