Economy:The economy is based on three main industries, agriculture, industry focusing on things like making food such as shortbread, haggis and whisky in the Strath Blend and finally services, mainly in tourism.The countries adminstration and financial industry is mainly based in Kathmore with the parliament and main departments in MacCarmaig. The economy is highly dependent on tourism and exports of traditional Strathae products including their traditional furniture , textiles , whisky and shortbread.

Rail: The railways run through to the major towns with an international line to Eskkya, between Kathmore and MacCarmaig. The lines centre on Kathmore and Mac Carmaig with lines in each direction. The railway is known to be the quickest way betwen major towns though they lose money owing to the spread out population and mountainous terrain.
Road:The road system consists mainly of 2 lane roads throughout the country even between major cities. The only major 4 lane roads are from the new tunnels to the capital of Kathmore and between Kathmore and MacCarmaig. There a 6 main roads one going to each of the major compass points and the circle road connecting all 6 around the outside. The roads are known to be windy and stunning.

The health service is fully funded for all citizens and long term residents of Strathae. A health card is handed out to all taxpayers in the country.
