Headquarters of the Mandavine Community

The situation had grown dire. Just a week ago, things had been normal. Now, Juan Delgado, the Secretary of the Mandavine Community, had a crisis on his hands. One of the biggest in recent memory. The Mandavine region was a traditionally stable place. The excitement and upheaval typically took place on the mainland. The simple truth was there was not often much worth bothering about in the islands, and things had been well because of that.
With the situation in Caladria, a member state of the Mandavine Community, growing more dire, he felt he had no choice. Diplomats from the Florinthian Federation and Holy Lanlanian Empire were summoned and in simple terms were asked to solve the problem. Their fleets were in the area and the Mandavine Community was not a military entity. The islands meanwhile were ill equipped to handle such a situation. Many relied on larger neighbors to protect them, namely Nyland, Florinthus, and Lanlania. This would have to be the case again, though after the recent events, the Mandavines may need to admit that their paradise may not be so peaceful anymore.
What it meant is that, for the time being, Lanlania and Florinthus, with the blessing and support of the Mandavine Community and Nyland, would be asked to fix the problem and re-assert the proper government in Caladria. There was a mess, and the Brigidnans would be asked to fix it. The fact that their navies were so close was a factor, as well as the fact that they both were already invested in the region. Florinthian fleets had been in Lusby and the Brennagen Isle's for decades, even after independence, and the Lanlanians did the same for their territories.
The hope was that the Brigidnans could solve the problem quickly and cleanly. Only time would tell if that would be the case.
