I wish to clarify that this is not due to masking changes I made on our way out. This error seems to be caused by Cloudflare, a system Zetaboards joined after they were hit by a denial-of-service attack a while back. It looks like they don't get along all the time (or maybe they're being DoSed again?). As the forum administrator, there isn't much I can do, except beach at Zetaboards. I'm not doing that, though, given we're not longer using those forums in a concentrated capacity.

However, I read on their forums that the 403 issue goes away if you refresh the page, or wait a bit and then refresh. If you continue to be unable the access the forums after doing this multiple times, lemme know. Also lemme know what you want to access, so I can help.

The 1580 SIFA World Cup Qualifying is a series of tournaments that occur in each of the five federations (Avidna, Brigidna, Kvaenna, Ostara, and Skathia). Each qualification tournament is different, as each federation has a different quantity of qualifying nations as well as different amounts of qualification spots.

The host of the 1576 SIFA World Cup, Valland, and the winner of the 1579 SIFA Brigidan Cup, Kazemura, they need not qualify, as they already have an automatic spot. The other 22 spots are assigned as follows:

Carpathian Nations' Cup - Allied States 1579

• About: The Carpathian Nations' Cup is an event which takes place every four years, involving the Allied States of Carpathia and Moldova and the former colonies of the historical Carpathian Empire. It is the only international football competition in which the individual state teams of the Allied States participate, rather than the national team. In addition, the competition also includes Wadiyah, Caladria, the Monroe Republic and the Autonomous Region of Silistria. The event is hosted in one of the participating countries, by rotation, in this order: Allied States of Carpathia and Moldova, Caladria, Monroe Republic, Wadiyah. As there are ten participants in the competition, there is a group stage, consisting of two initial groups of five teams, of which four advance to the next round. The subsequent rounds are normal, elimination rounds.

SCENARIO: In 1321 CE, Emperor Joseph II died with no heirs and no succession plan in place to establish any measure of continuity. The end result was the fall of the Athelonian Dynasty and the beginning of what is known as the War of the Imperial Succession, sometimes also referred to as the Fourth Civil War. The war, mostly political, had its share of violence and bloodshed and lasted until 1338, when Tassadar assumed the Throne and formed the Aiurian Dynasty and began the process of industrializing Angiris.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The War of the Imperial Succession was originally not in the original OOC history of the Angirisian Empire or the Near East. I thought of this to plug in a little hole. Plus, it would provide the basis for the eventual industrialization of the Angirisian Empire and the end of the last major political crisis in Angirisian history.

WHO CAN BE INVOLVED: Anyone. I need a few players who can RP three of the four factions involved in this war. I will be RPing the forces loyal to the eventual Emperor Tassadar, who was based in Aiuria. The other factions will be based in Angleterre, Virginium and Arreat. I will provide a map as to who controls what territories and who are loyal to these factions. Outside of Angiris, border nations with Angiris such as Pythos, Ceribia, or others (provided they exist) can have some role in this battle. Angirisian then-allies such as Mestra are strongly encouraged to participate.

WHY? Well, while the outcome is assured that Tassadar will win this war and become Emperor, this does provide a basis as to how the Aiurian Dynasty came to be and it provides the foundations for the Industrial Era in Angiris. This could be the last significant pre-Industrial war in this part of the world, if not the world in general.

The 1582 SIFA World Cup Qualifying is a series of tournaments that occur in each of the five federations (Avidna, Brigidna, Kvaenna, Ostara, and Skathia).
