The emperor dies of a stroke
As the results came in from the referendum from the monarchy question our majesty the emperor has died as a result of a stroke in his private bedchambers.
Officials state that altough they mourn the death of the emperor it will make things easier as he doesn't have any direct heirs.
The transformation to a republic will start soon they say but first we need to give him a proper state funeral and place him in the catacombs where all his predecessors are buried.
A week of mourning has been announced to happen and his funeral procession.
