Why should your nation host?

As one of the top football nations in Brigidna, Oslanburg has a long history in the sport of football, with a passionate football base, one can guarantee that any of the matches played here would most likely be sold out and packed, ensuring that this would be one of the most successful FBFA Brigidna Cups in recent history.

Oslanburg also has a history of hosting large sporting events, such as the FBFA Brigidna Cup on two previous occasions in 1525 and 1545, along with the 1538, and 1578 SIFA World Cups. Oslanburg also maintain world class football facilities, courtesy of having a successful top flight league in the form of the Gulcron Superliga. No infrastructure or facility work will need to be done, and existing structures will be used for all events.

Oslanburg also boosts a rich cultural heritage in which fans can explore and learn about during the lapse between matches, allowing them to learn a great deal more about the state in which they will temporarily reside in, allowing for an understanding of  Oslanburgan history and culture.

Transportation between the host cities is easy, as through a well sustained high speed rail system that connects all of Oslanburg's major cities, fans can easily travel between any of the hosting areas. Safety of those visiting will also be taken into consideration with extra security forces being deployed to make sure that the event is one that is safe, and yet still enjoyable.

The most popular sport in Oslanburg by both number of participants and viewership is association football.  Football (soccer) is the most popular sport in Oslanburg, with over tens of thousands players in more than an estimated 36,000 clubs. This includes both amateur and local clubs. The national football team in Oslanburg have reached high and notable results, like qualifying for the FBFA Brigidna Championship ten times in a row (1537–1577) and winning said competition in 1557 and 1569.  Though their greatest achievement by far in the world of football is winning the SIFA World Cup in 1514 and in 1574, and finishing in the top four on four other occasions, reaffirming their position as one of the top teams in the sport..

The top-league in Oslanburg football is called the Superliga. There are a total of twenty clubs that compete each year. Each club plays each other twice during the regular season, which stretches from Dein to Fein, which also the same time as most other Brigidnan Leagues. The reigning champions are FC Goltun of Herlev, while FC Herlev Costlo of Herlev is the most successful ever club, with 30 top division titles to their name. Famous Superliga players include Konrad Tange, Perat Nolsen, Borus Kitef, Michael Hansen and Mogens Krogh.

The second tier is the Liga En which consists of 20 teams, which was last won by Ostden FC. The third tier of the Oslanburg football pyramid the Liga To which consists of 24 teams, and was lost one by Dulbirk. The fourth tier is the Oslan Serien which is made up of the three leagues of 24 teams each. The last two champions were Duvest Crine(North), Mofet BK (Central) and Blikhes FC (South).

Why should your nation host the event: Despite being a premier player on the international scale, consistently being ranked in the top five in since at least 1571, Severyane has never actually hosted a World Cup. If Severyane were allowed to host the 1590 World Cup, not only would it be one of the most successful events in SIFA history but, it would be one of the most historic events in SIFA history. It would also cement Football as the leading sport in Severyane for the foreseeable future, guaranteeing that dedicated fans and successful players continue to come from Severyane.


What is the football background in your nation: Severyane has a long and rich history with football. Its first club was founded in 1492, FC Otprysk, and it competed in its fist World Cup in the year 1506 though it came home in tenth. Football has held solid as Severyane's top favorite national sport ever since the 1534 World Cup in which Severyane took the second place spot after a spectacular match against Taeunas, the 1542 World Cup when it again took second against Nerysia. The "nail in the coffin" so to speak was when Severyane took home the gold in 1558, beating out Nyland. While the number of football clubs had grown steadily since the 1490s, Severyane's performance in those three World Cups helped Severyane's National Football Association grow past many people's expectations.

Why should your nation host the event: 1590 represents a very special year, for Carpathia. On one hand, it commemorates 100 years since Maximilian Arcturus wrote his "Manifesto of the National-Communist Party". On the other hand, it represents a century of football, for the entire world. Hosting the 1590 World Cup, would give the Allied States the opportunity to celebrate the nation's (and the world's) most popular sport, with attendances and TV ratings during matches, numbering in the tens of millions every year, in Carpathia alone. Hosting this event would raise the profile of Carpathian football, even further and increase the quality of football in the Allied States, through increased revenues which will allow for future generations of Carpathian football fans and players alike, to enjoy bigger and better stadiums, a higher standard of playing and more successes, worldwide.

What is the football background in your nation: Football is, without a doubt, the most popular sport in the Allied States. Since the first clubs were established, 115 years ago, the sport's prestige and popularity has increased steadily throughout the years, resulting in moderate successes worldwide. Since the Revolutionary War, Carpathia has an unusual tier system, or, rather, several tier systems (one for each state), with two federal upper tiers ("Divizia B" and "Divizia A"), each consisting of twelve teams and with qualification in the second tier being achieved by the champions and 2nd place teams from each state. This results in an extremely high competitiveness, as well as insuring that teams are evenly matched and stand a fair chance at a promotion.

Anything else of note: The Allied States of Carpathia and Moldova is a unique nation, in many ways. The birthplace of National-Communism and one of the most developed nations in the world, Carpathia has an ancient, vibrant culture based on the principles of cooperation, freedom and meritocracy, which blends thousands of years of tradition, with modern technology, a keen interest in science and the ideals of communism. It is an economic powerhouse, with an active, energetic population which is very welcoming towards foreigners, as long as it is not insulted. Carpathia features numerous hotels, ranging from budget accommodations, to luxury resorts, although most of these are business hotels. In addition, it also prides itself on its wide variety of delicious foods.

Goldecia has a rich history of football for the masses. The sport holds a place in peoples hearts as the equal number 1 sport of the nation. The country has a premier league crammed with talent with clubs such as Royal Abbott F.C and Ogo Terrabytes as well as Lyons Bulls which do well in the Interleague Cup.The league has alot of domestic talent but 35% of players are of foreign origin while Goldecian players also play in other nations leagues. The country is a melting pot of cultures with mixed race at over 27% of the poplation as well as diverse in religion.The nation has liberal attitudes to alcohol , drugs and sexuality with all being legal. The nation has good transport infrastructure with budget trains to luxury trains and accomodation ranging from £15 a night cub hotels to 6 star luxury. The restaurant scene is rich with food from nations all over the world and simple dining in a pub with a pint all the way up to a la carte fine dining restaurants. There is a accommodation and food to suit all budgets. With two budget airlines offering millions of seats the nation is easy to get to even to those on a budget. The nation is perfect if you wish to have food culture with many fine Narnian wines, world famous cheeses such as Gouda as well as traditional dishes such venison.
