Bright Sands and Terrible Ambitions [Brigidnan Colonization of Khiva]

In the middle of the wave of discovery, The Arkianian Monarch knew it would not be too long before the Brigidnan powers would try to stake a claim on the various lands of Khiva. Part of this preparation was seizing an island that Arkianians had knew for centuries and has used as a supply post for trade from Arkiania and Khiva. A grand fleet was assembled to sail off to the island which the Arkiania's called Míntlant(Middle Island). Sitting in the middle of the eastern Ishnallan sea, it was an important position standing between Khiva in the south and Arkiania in the north. It would later stand as the staging point for further Arkianian expansion, possible in Khiva.

Meanwhile in soyabar

The ships that had been send back with a full load arrived approached the harbor. A flare was shot, it was red meaning something was wrong after that a purple one was fired meaning it was not an attack but contact had to be made before docking so things where ready to be informed. The flag people where put on the ready.

It was done an said. Reports were ready and taken to the goverment who called in an emergency meeting and theywhere quite shocked the trading expedition found new land. The emperor was informed and the news spread newpapers where printed and sold etc.
The emperor went trough reports and didn't know what to do. But after counceling he signed an executive order to send support to explore this strange land and setting ip a new trade route.

After this only 2-3 days passed, a fleet was set up and set sail to Khiva, whilst diplomats were also send to Arkania, along side the original traders who where to join up with the admiral after that mission as they have also loaded up building supplies and other things for the first settlers
