How the system works:
The Royal Conservatives elections runs on an electoral college. There are three main components that give points:
Business and Enterprise Council:Guilds and business associations have representatives on the council. These play a part in party policy and also have a vote in the leadership elections. The council is made up of 150 Business Council Representitives. The council allocates 25 points proportionally.
Popular Election:This bloc is worth 50 points allocated according to the public members vote.
MP Vote:All elected MP's and local party leaders get to vote for party leader. Currently this means 106 MP's and 38 Local party leaders making up 144 electors. There are 25 points to be gained here. The points are split according to the MP vote percentage.
