With the merger of the three parties LSP, TUSC and Republicans into one all three leaders announced they would be stepping into backseat roles to let a new generation of leadership emerge. The race is hot with all three factions putting forward candidates and backing their candidates with the Left wing , centre left and far left TUSC all backing different candidates. Its up to the party membership to decide. here are the candidates

About:Amirah Taliba Saqqaf was born in Wadiyah to Akhadist parents. She immigrated to Goldecia in 1557 with her parents looking for a better life. She is known for her anti-fascist activities ,strong links with the Unions being a member of TUSC until the merger and a supporter of strong welfare systems. She proposes raising the top income tax rate to 60% and proposes banning grammar schools and loosening the points requirement to immigrate to Goldecia arguing immigration is good for the country. She is an advocate of strong hate speech laws and compulsory minority and gender studies classes and in favour of quotas on to get more women and ethnic minorities into top jobs. She does however stay silent on the gay rights issue and personally believes women should cover their faces even though she rejects forcing people to do so in Akhadist areas. She also supports the introduction of Akhadic courts in order to increase integration.

Aboutarwin Lovel was born to a union family. His dad was general secretary of the transport union and mother a union activist. He was brought up with staunchly socialist values having worked his way up from an apprentice in the Railways from the age of 15 to Union general secretary by 1552 which he held onto until he was elected to the parliament in 1569 under the TUSC. He was previously a LSP voter. A lifelong socialist he believes in renationalising the energy, transport , utility and telecoms sector and reorganizing the Economy into a co-operative economy. He proposes a 65% tax rate on any household income over 75,000 pounds and a higher tax on mansions.He calls for an end to racism and proposes strengthening the hate speech laws and wants to increase immigration. He supports taking in any who need asylum. Darwin has proposed a £80 a week basic income per adult and £40 a week basic income per child.He is also proposing reform of how income is distributed capping exec pay at 20 times the lowest wage of the company or organisation. He is also proposing a ban on pay over £100,000 in the public sector.He is backed by far left unions.

About: Tammie Gabriels became an MP in 1564 on the LSP ticket just 5 years before the split. She spent her employment before that as a CEO of Great Tits Brewery breaking barriers inside the company. She believes a moderate party is needed if the party is to be elected and to that end she proposes a maximum income Tax rate of 50% . She supports some welfare but also wishes to clamp down on those abusing welfare and supports a 5 year period before one can recieve benefits. She supports a points based system for immigration and believes that companies should have to hire locals before hiring people from abroad. She strongly supports more integration with the KEC and the introduction of a social charter in the KEC. She supports continuing strong relations with Kolhar Imperium and strengthening aid to the nation. He social stances are liberal and while not liking hate speech she believes its better non-pc and bigoted things are able to be said and argued against instead favouring free speech and countering extremism with anti-extremism programme. Tammie has called for a sensible debate on Akhadist extremism calling for working with Akhadist elders in the community and high profile people to help tackle problems in their own communities. On the economy she supports business and wants to attract more businesses including new types such as third sector or social enterprises. She believes the party needs to reach out to the middle class and those disaffected by mass immigration in order to win the election. She opposes those who refuse to discuss the topics for fears of being called "racist."
