Swathes of military equipment was seized, and citizens begun volunteering for what was now called the Wadiyian Liberation Front, the object was to establish an Akhadic Republic of Wadiyiah. Kuzhes also rallied to citizenry to the causes and various militia's began aligning themselves with the movement. In the midst, of this sporadic broke out in various areas in North Wadiyah with forces loyal to the coup. In a broadcast speech, Mahfuz El-Ghazzawy, the proclaimed leader of the movement announced the existence of the movement and proclaimed the Akhadic Republic of Wadiyah. "People of Wadiyah, the time has come to heed the words of Akhad and resist the imperialist, and heretical forces of Asad al-Hussain and Silistria. We call all who follows Akhad's word to join us in forming our Akhadic Republic." The low quality broadcast was then suddenly cut. Mahfuz began ordering the regoup and consolidation of military forces in preparation for an offensive.
