The most intensive fighting since Arkiania-Achian War in 1588 has come to an end as Arkiania Royal Armed Forces cleared the final stronghold in Galati. In a battle that has lasted a month, the Royal Armed Forces found itself having to clear the entire city. As a result of house to house fighting the many parts of the city were devastated, with many civilians caught in the crossfire. However, Achian Insurgents were able to evacuate many out of the city when the fighting first began. At the beginning insurgent forces were holding out successfully even as a relief force of Arkianian forces came, however as fighting got more intense heavy vehicles and air support started rolling to the city, by the last two weeks insurgent supplies were cut off, and it was only a matter of time before the last stronghold was taken. Insurgents forces lost over an estimated 1,000 men, with Arkianian estimates at 112 men. With the Battle of Galati over, Arkiania is back on the offensive, with insurgent forces devastated.
