"He did what?"

"Disolved their parliment and arrested some of the MP's."

"You're kidding." Gerry Adams was slightly incredulous at the news.

"No, Minister. I wish I was." replied Deputy Foreign Minister for Kvaennan Affairs Amhra Ó Manacháin.

"Bollicks." Adams sighed. "So, what is the state of affairs in SA currently?"

"Not good probably. We'd only just started to put more assets into place to get a feel for the attitude of the people after Sophias visit last month."

"Well, gee, isn't that a coincidence."

"Yes sir, that was the general consensus down in my section. We'd all be very surprised if she wasn't running this from the back door."

"Well, she would be an expert on back doors."

Ó Manacháin coughed a laugh. "As you say, Minister."

"Ok, head back to your section. Keep me informed. I have to take this to the Taoiseach."

Ten minutes later, Adams walked into the outter office of the Taoiseach. "Is he in? We may have a situation."

"He is, but he's on the phone with the Goldecian PM." a secretary said. She got up and opened the door to the inner office for the minister.

"Probably about the same issue." he said as he walked though the door. Taoiseach DeSchaine, with a phone to his ear, motioned for him to take a seat.

"Yeah Joe... I'm about to have a meeting too... Well, I doubt any of us can actually prove she's the one behind it... Yeah, I know it. Anyone with half a brain can connect the dots... Our commitment to Kvaenna is unchanged... Yeah, if it gets to that point, we'll have to conference everyone in... Right, see ya Joe." He shook his head as he hung up the phone. "Let me guess Gerry, SA."

"Yep. My K section people took a little time to go over the footage and some previous information."

"Their conclusions?"

"Not much more than an 'oh shit.' You had it right with the PM. We can't actually prove anything, but we'll take it as truth that Adwest planned this and put it into motion."

"So what's our exposure on this?"

"Politically? None. Everyone knows where we stand on the issues involved. A petty wannabe despot unilaterally takes power? Not going to sit well."

"Good. I'll have Mulcahy in here in a bit. It'll be good to have a line for options."

"Right. Let me know when we need to set up that conference." Adams stood. "This whole thing stinks from the head down." he said as he walked back to his office.
