A coup for stability?

The next 4 weeks the military tightened control over government, the police and security forces. Airports after having been shut down for 1 week were reopened on a limited basis.Anyone fighting the military was arrested for treason to be prosecuted later in the year. National-Communist Party(Raashtreey-Kamyunist Paartee),Social Federal Party and members of any other parties who rejected the military government coup were to be put in jail and potentially executed. The strengthening of power was solidified. A new "Federal Media Commission" appointed by the military would regulate and approve all media from now on with a new framework. Finally constitutional changes were announced . The new bill of rights was announced for citizens:7
1:All citizens shall have the right to free speech except if there is a threat to national security or public order
2:All citizens have the right to freedom of assembly except if there is a threat to national security or public order
3:All citizens have the right to protest except if there is a threat to national security or public order
4:All media has the the right to freedom of speech except if there is a threat to national security or public order
5:All citizens have the right to freedom of religion and membership of any legal religion except if there is a threat to national security or public order
6:All citizens have the righ to join any legally recognized union
7:All citizens have the right to a fair trial under law
8:All citizens have the right to be paid for their labour except when working as part of a state punishment , workfare scheme or repaying debt

Finally a new system was devised with three parties competing for power all supporting the military and a new parliament structure being announced:

Trade Union Assembly Members(Elected by trade unions 2 per trade union)

General Airavata Singh released a statement at a press conference and through state media: "Today my fellow Svarnans and friends We today announce a new day of moderate policies, of true liberty , freedom and representation and of most importantly stability. We are to set up a new type of government . We will have trade unions, businessmen , soldiers and civillians represented by the same amount of representatives 200 for a National Assembly of 800. You will all have the freedom to vote for the party or candidates of your choice. You will also all be guaranteed the same rights as before under the constitution as long as national security or public order is not at stake. We as a result are bringing in a new policy , freedom of speech zones where protests are to be held so you can protest safely. We promise our new government is to provide you safety and security. Furthermore we renounce some policies , from today there will be no sanctions on Akitsu including export or import restrictions. In fact they will be treated the same as all others on our new import schedule tarriff.10% import tax. We will bei introducing a import tarriff schedule policy ranging from 0% to 45% in 5% increments to give the government flexibility once again embedded in the constitution. We will be holding elections on the 8th of Zechyr every 5 years. This is a new dawn of stability, democracy and freedom for Svarna Surya. Thank you."

Vijay Tata and Ananth Vijay Mahindra were released as a result of the judges throwing out charges against them with their companies being given back to them.
