It runs XP, interestingly. I do have some extra sticks of RAM lying around, but they're DDR2 while the dinosaur needs DDR. It might be better to just upgrade your parent's or your old laptop (though I read somewhere that laptops aren't good?). The processor on mine is not only old (and single-core), but its maximum RAM'd barely be enough for the bare minimum Mojang recommends.
We should aim for a PC with a dual core processor--adding more RAM is a lot cheaper and easier than upgrading the processor. If neither your parent's desktop or your laptop are dual core, how do you feel about getting a cheap refurbished PC for it? This one doesn't look bad.
In any case, we could tap the donations to help pay for whatever we go with. 8D
