So I finally pulled that heavy ass tower from the other side of my bed. Took the monitor cable from my second monitor, discovered it wasn't the right type, grabbed the right one, power cables and mouse from the Reserve (my sister has this box FULL of old ass cables), and hooked it all up. This little cutie is 15-20 years old and runs on an AMD Athlon XP 3000+ (1 core @ 2.2Ghz) and 192 MB of RAM. Yes, 1-9-2 MB.
I'm skeptical the motherboard on this dinosaur could even handle an upgrade? This is the motherboard: http://www.mxdatarecovery.net/asus-mothe...v4627.html It can handle up to 2GB of RAM (which I can get for like, 20-30 bucks), but the CPU is weak as all hell. Might not be good?
I kinda have access to another PC, the old touchscreen I used before I built my own, but my dad says he'll take it with him to Mexiland, which is he says he's totally gonna do by the end of the year. Wouldn't last too long~
