It's mainly a question of certain hardware, especially internals, uniformity of munitions, alterations to meet mission requirements, etc. Given the massive R&D portion Lines builds into his military spreadsheets, I'm assuming these things have already been researched, trialed and funded ICly, I'm just trying to play catch-up in regards to figuring out what's going into production and use.
