Siora Has Spoken: Karjelinn Claims Gold!

After months of anticipation, the fourth Voice of Siora Song Contest concludes in Valland!

Careful Eggy, or your face might freeze like that!

The day of the competition saw each nation - some still riding the high of having taken with them the six points from the preliminary vote and others anxiously hoping to come out as the dark horse of the competition - perform onstage with a vast range of visual and audio effects at their disposal: huge crystal screen displays, hundreds of lights, trapdoors and moving floor pieces, projectors and pyrotechnics. And of course, they brought with them their own visionary talent.

John Ström lit up the stage his electrifying guitar riffs.

Oslanburg's summer hip hop hits Gotfred Sommer brought some warmth and fun to the winter festivities.

Maybe the signals Dons is casting is for you to vote for him?

Bangtan Boys bring the heat with their hit, Yeol.

Pavlos Giannopoulos melted hearts with his silky sounds and moves.

The Man, the Myth, the Legend...Bill Mullins.

Hearts were wrenched in the audience with Luukas Pulkkinen's emotional performance.

Although every performance was spectacular in their own right, there could be only one winner at the end of the night, and that honor has been awarded for the first time to Karjelinn, for their entry Pomppufiilis by the band Eggy. With a, uh, "unique" sound and hippy-hoppy moves, Eggy thrilled the audience with his antics and wowed the judges with his stupidly silly voice. (How does he do it?) The race to the gold medal was close for the latter stages of the competition, where the early lead built by Millerainia was slowly chipped away until Karjelinn slipped by in the last vital votes of the competition to edge into first by two points, the closest margin in competition history.

And so we give another hearty congratulations to our first place winner, Karjelinn! We look forward to seeing you host the next competition!

The Voice of Siora committee also extends a big congratulations to second-place winner Bill Mullins from Millerainia, and third-place winner Luukas Pulkkinen of Harmajaa.

Lift your voices in celebration, Siora!
