Guide: Joining the Sioran MTRP Scene - Directorate - 09-01-2016

First, be sure to have read the Starter Guide and the SMTRP Rules.

Then, just copy+paste+fill the following form in the region you would like to claim in. The current available regions are:
Siora.

Afterwards, go to the Statistics page and fill in the requested information for your country. Be aware that the population and GDPpc you fill in may change after Directorate review. Please keep the information in English. You don't call Moscow by it's Russian name and the maps aren't in Lanlanian, after all. If you need any sort of help, feel free to ask more experienced members on the Discord RP Help Desk. You may also find the Discord embedded on the bottom of the page.

Code:
[u]Official Name of State[/u]:
(examples: The United States of America, The Federal Republic of Germany, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Island)

[u]Common name of State[/u]:
(examples: United States, Germany, United Kingdom)

[u]Economic Development[/u]: Underdeveloped/Developing/Developed
(How developed do you imagine the country is as a whole? Is the majority of it impoverished like Africa (Underdeveloped)? Is it rich, like North America and Europe (Developed)? Or is somewhere in the middle, like South America and parts of Asia (Developing)?)

[u]Population size[/u]: Low/Average/High
(Do you imagine the country has a low, average or high population? This will scale with the size.)

[u]Size[/u]: Small/Medium/Large
(If you have the skill, you may draw your own proposal and submit it with your claim. Alternatively, you may talk to Ayzek over the [url=https://discord.gg/cW7zB8t]Discord RP Help Desk[/url] and he'll you determine your country's borders. Failing that, select one of the above and Ayzek will reach out to you with proposals.)

[u]Location[/u]: Avidna/Brigidna/Kvaenna/Ostara/Skathia/Aesenna/the Mandavine/the Near East
(As the map does not have predetermined numbered plots, select the region you'd like. You can find more information about these regions in the land claim thread.)

[u]Cities:[/u]
(List 3-8 names and locations, eg.: "coastal" or "along river, if possible. Please indicate the capital. You may submit a map if you have one.)

[u]Ethnicity:[/u]
(Is the ethnicity based on a real-life country's? Ethnicities are somewhat restricted in where they may be spawned, to keep the world structured.)

[u]Religion:[/u]
(Our role play world has its own religions mostly unrelated to real life ones. We encourage you to use one that already exists, rather than create a new one. You may learn about our religions on the [url=http://wiki.eternityrpc.com/wiki/Major_religious_groups]major religious groups page[/url] of our wiki. Like Ethnicity, the religion your state follows may restrict where you may spawn it.)

[u]Brief description of your country[/u]
(Government? Technology? Culture?)

[u]Brief Summary of how you'd like your country to fit in the world[/u]
(Trade power? Military power? Diplomatic power?)

You may use the following template to add your state to the ERPC Wiki. If you are not sure how to add a page on the wiki, the Page-maker Helper-kun on the SMTRP Calculators page can help you--simply type the name of the page in the textbox, press Help, and it'll give you a link to your page. Simply click the "Create" button on that page, and you'll be good to go.

The toughest thing about setting up your state's wiki page will likely be the infobox table. Luckily, our wiki is designed to make use of the same Templates used by Wikipedia, which means we can also use their help documentation. You may find more information on the Country infobox on Wikipedia, but reviewing that is only necessarily if you want a more in depth table that average. Otherwise, you may use the form provided below to get a pretty good infobox going.

The code also includes a basic article set up that you can use to provide more information about your country. Some of our nicer country articles are those of the Holy Lanlanian Empire, Oslanburg, and Eskkya. You could also look to the articles of real-life countries on Wikipedia for inspiration.

For a simple article using this exact template, view Gable's. To view it's code, simply click the "Edit" button.
Code:
