We can wait that long tbh, I need to do port forwarding on my router/modem(?) so that I can host a server you guys can actually join. I'm thinking the earliest we would start is like January 5th, just because I'm also trying to get ready for school next semester.

...but honestly, it would probably be better if I didn't wield absolute power over our destiny as captain, since I've never played before and would have no idea what I'm doing. Maybe I'll be the Janitor. Or the station AI. Or maybe some personal AI, something like that. That'd be neat.

If anyone can help me figure out how to port forward, yeah, otherwise we'll all have to raid a public server.

Are you on a network that supports port forwarding? If you are using WiFi, where you cannot access the router (ie- college, work, etc) you will be unable to port forward. If you do have access to the router, though I might be able to help you out with that.

I do, it's at my house in the office area. It's an Apple AirPort router which I just found out cannot be portforwarded the normal way. I'll figure it out and post updates ASAP.
