Akitsu Protests Carpathian Anti-Akitsu Political Statement at SIFA
by Haruto Kirishima

The Carpathian soccer team announced intentions to wear anti-Akitian slogans on their shirts during the next SIFA World Cup match, a slap to the face of every proud Akitian citizen and a complete disrespect towards the host and other nations in the match.

The move drew sharp rebukes from the Akitian national team. Yuya Okazaki, the team captain, expressed outrage with the Carpathian team.

"They display nothing short of utter contempt for our great country." he said "This complete and total disrespect and has no place in any soccer game. It is an insult not only against our team but also against all Akitians worldwide. It is inexcusable."

The Akitian Soccer Association has lodged a formal complaint with SIFA, demanding that Carpathia be punished for their insolence.

All Parties in Legislature form Coalition: Taisei Yokusankai born!
by Haruto Kirishima

The song of the Taisei Yokusankai.

All political parties in the national legislature has agreed to join into a single coalition, called the Taisei Yokusankai The new coalition was made so that the government could be run more effectively, with every party having a representative in the organization that allows them to privately discuss their concerns with the other parties. These private talks are expected to lead to draft bills that are more acceptable to all parties in the government, and thus improve the speed at which bills are passed into law.

The coalition has adopted it's own song and passed a minor measure that requires the song be played at the start of all school days and at 8 AM on all TV stations.

Sōtō issues Proclamation on Education
by Haruto Kirishima

24 Tolven, 1584

Sōtō Hayato Yamaguchi has issued a Proclamation on Education today, with the hopes of helping the country unite under the righteous path set out by our ancestors and nearly abandoned by the Liberal Democratic Party of Akitsu. The proclamation was issued during the evening session of the National Legislature, which subsequently drafted and passed a bill to make it mandatory study for all students starting in the first grade. All students will be expected to memorize the Proclamation by heart. It will also be repeated by school authorities during all school functions.

The Proclamation reads as follows:

Akitian:
Quote:

Translation:
Quote:Proclamation on Education

Our country was built upon the our ancestor’s grand ideals and their morals. From this foundation, our country’s people have united in loyalty and filial piety and made grand accomplishments generation after generation. This is evidence of our countries excellence.

You citizens, be filial to your parents, affectionate to your brothers and sisters; as husbands and wives be harmonious, as friends true; be discreet with your actions; extend to all your benevolence; pursue learning and cultivate your skills; develop yourselves as persons; advance public good and promote common interests; always respect the Constitution and observe the laws. And should an emergency arise, courageously offer yourselves to the state out of a sense of justice, and thus guard our countries eternal destiny.

This is not only what is expected of a good citizen, but is a good custom passed down to us from our ancestors.

This path is what our ancestors have laid to us, and as their descendants we must continue down it. It has proven infallible from the past to the present, both within and outside of our country. Together with you citizens, I bear these teachings from our ancestors to heart, and hope to continue to accomplish what is grand.

Hayato Yamagushi, Sōtō of the Empire of Akitsu
