Krinisian Isle History Discussion - Arkiania - 11-16-2018 Since I'm pretty much alone on the Isle at this point and my buddy gone and it doesn't seem like he's gonna come back. I think I might as well take the objective of writing the history myself. The purpose of this thread is to help fill in the gaps and make sure its fits with current history. Quote:1200 BCE: Early Angirisians settle in North and in the bay of Lagkada in Octitania. RE: Krinisian Isle History Discussion - Ayzek - 11-16-2018 FYI: RP 1200 BCE is 750sh BCE RL. Proto-Angirisians/Pythians/not-Greeks did explore and establish city-states along the blue here, but I'm a little skeptical they'd have wandered all the way down south, especially without touching Mestra. I'd say it'd be more fitting for pre-Mestrans to have colonized Arkiana that early. I don't have any Mestran history for that period, tho. Both pre-Mestrans and pre-Angirisans ended up absorbed into the Galasian empire which spawned in 720 BCE, but they weren't fully annexed until 300 BCEish. I feel it'd be best for you to try to see what pre-Mestrans were up to at the time. But if that doesn't work with you, /maybe/ we can work with the Pythian part of the not-Greek families. But we may still need Mestra for that. Near East c. 950 BCE: RE: Krinisian Isle History Discussion - Mestra - 11-16-2018 So there were no pre-Mestrans as the Mestran nation was created from the union of the Kingdom of I'valis and Corali. In turn these two kingdoms were the left over remains of the Galasian Empire in the South. It would be in this case that what is being referred to as pre-Mestran would have either been Galasians from the Kingdom/Empire period or from the Gala tribes themselves which later unified into the Galasian Kingdom/Empire. The Gala do not arrive until 726 BCE with the Kingdom of Galasia being formed around 504 BCE. The final deathblow to Galasia would be in 12 CE, when the Mestran precursor states were founded. All of this is based on the current historical setting for region where Mestra exists. There were a couple of early peoples such as the Valadrians and Anderisians that existed in the area, these would later be consumed by the Galasians, and then again when Mestra conquered its neighbors. I can always flesh out some more history, which probably should be done anyway. RE: Krinisian Isle History Discussion - Arkiania - 11-17-2018 So it doesnt seem out of the realm of possibility that some peoples could have made there way from the area, maybe just not mestrans or gallians. |
