Florinthian manager vacancy - Flo - 10-11-2017

There is presently a vacancy for the manager of the Florinthian Men's National team. This is open to anyone who submits a resume. They will be hiring a manager on a contract through 1593, as they feel a long term contract is required to build a proper philosophy.

The FA is looking for someone who can qualify for all major tournaments and make the knockouts in each one. They have a desire to win at least one during the tenure, but would settle for a semi-final appearance. While the manager will have a relatively long leash and will be allowed to finish their term before they are evaluated, failing to qualify for any FBFA tournament or SIFA World Cup is grounds for immediate dismissal.

The FA is looking for someone who can play to Florinthus' strengths. Presently, the talent pool is thinner than in most years, and defenders in particular are weak. While the FA would like a defensive minded manager to institute a more defensive philosophy, their last managerial choice proved that you cant make lemonade with apples, and they are instead looking for someone to make it work with what Florinthus has to offer.

The FA is looking for someone with international experience with proven success, but this is not an absolute requirement. Below is the form you may fill out to apply. Add as much detail as is possible.

RE: Florinthian manager vacancy - Hadash - 10-11-2017

Quote:Name: Demeter Magnowsky
Age: 64
Nationality: Mordvanian
Player experience: Mordvanian Supercup (1540-1549), Abdanian League (1549-1552), Mordvanian Supercup (1552-1554).
Clubs/Teams Managed:
ND Seznica (1568-1570) - 1 Mordvanian Premier League (1568), 1 Mordvanian Republican Cup (1569)
Mordvanian national team (1570-1574) - 31 matches (15 wins, 7 draws, 9 loses - 43 goals for and 35 goals against)
-> 1573 Brigidnan Cup (Quarterfinals)
-> 1574 World Cup (Group stage)
NK Slovograd (1574-1577) - 2 Mordvanian Premier League (1574-1575 and 1575-1576), 1 Mordvanian Republican Cup (1577)
GKS Wojek (1580-1586) -  no titles.
Bio: Magnowsky, an ethnic Ashkuban, had a discreet career as football player in several Mordvanian and Abdanian clubs, winning two Royal Cups and one Abdanian First Division title while playing for Borussia Fürstenstadt (although he only played about 10 matches in his last two seasons).

He started his career as coach as manager of the ND Seznica, which surprisingly won the first Mordvanian Premier League after defeating the favourite and much richer teams such as NK Slovograd and ND Brezedina. In his three seasons as ND Seznica manager, he consolidated the team as one of the top 4 clubs in Mordvania, and he was hired as Mordvanian national team manager in 1570. Magnowsky brought a new generation of younger players to the national team being able to qualify Mordvanian national team for two consecutive tournaments for first time (Mordvania had failed to qualify to the 1570 World Cup). After four seasons, as Mordvanian national manager, he signed for NK Slovograd, the top club in the Mordvanian Premier League. His first two seasons were successful, winning the Mordvanian Premier League in 1575 and 1576, but the next season, despite winning he Republican Cup, he was sacked after a disappointing season in the Mordvanian Premier League. From 1580 to 1586 he managed GKS Wojek, a smaller but competitive Mordvanian club.

Preferred tactic: 4-5-1 and 4-4-2
Vision: Magnowsky is considered a competitive manager, able to realize the strengh and weakness of his teams in order to improve it. He is not exactly a revolutionary manager, and his playing style is focused in a strong defense with offensive wingers along a midfield aimed to ball possession. Magnowsky's teams don't typically create many chances, but they steady during the season and don't lose many matches.

Quote:Name: Primoz Rusjan
Age: 58
Nationality: Mordvanian
Player experience: No experience. He started his football career as assistant and coach in Youth football clubs.
Clubs/Teams Managed:
Chlyb FC (1562-1564) - 1 Mordvanian Supercups.
NK Slovograd (1568) - fired after five matches
Slovograd 1566 (1569-1574) - no titles (Mordvanian Republican Cup runners-up in 1571)
Mordvanian national team (1574-1586) - 100 matches (62 wins, 19 draws, 19 loses - 137 goals for, 81 goals against)
-> 1577 Brigidnan Cup (Final)
-> 1578 World Cup (3rd place)
-> 1581 Brigidnan Cup, 1582 World Cup, 1585 Brigidnan Cup (Quarterfinal)
-> 1586 World Cup (Round of 16)
Bio: Rusjan's career doesn't offer many titles, but he has been the most successful Mordvanian national manager since the creation of the national team in 1567. He was hired to coach Slovograd 1566 when the club was not still one of the top clubs in Mordvania, achieving the top 6 in the Mordvania Premier League in every of his five season in the club. The club reached the Mordvanian Republican Cup final in 1571, but lost against ND Seznica - the runners-up fo the MPL that season.

He was hired as Mordvanian national team manager in 1574, and he became the longest-serving and most sucessful manager since the 1567. He qualified Mordvanian team for the next six major tournaments (three Brigidnan Cups and three World Cups). He introduced important tactical changes and -helped with a new generation of Mordvanian players- the team reached the Brigidnan Cup final for firt time in 1577, and ending in the 3th place a year later in the Florinthus & Oslanburg Cup. In the next three tournaments, the Mordvanian team was unable to advance beyond the Quarterfinals, being defeated by Millerainia in the Round 16 in the 1586 World Cup. He resigned after that, being working lately as sport commentator for a Mordvanian television channel.

In his 100 matches as manager of the Mordvanian national team, he obtained a 62% of wins, 1.4 goals for per match and only 0.8 goals against per match, an all-time record for the Mordvanian team.

Preferred tactic: 4-2-3-1
Vision: Rusjan's teams, specially during his long tenure as Mordvanian national team, play with a compact midfield combined with incisive wingers. Unlike Traznek and Magnowsky who used to play with just one striker, he introduced a second striker -usually faster and more associative- although in matches against more serious rivals he used his typical 4-2-3-1 formation. While Rusjan's teams are oriented toward ball posession, they are not shy to use a more direct style when it is required (in his last years as Mordvanian manager, specially helped by Mordvanian star Zoran Smolar and his 2 metres height).

While Rusjan has never managed any team outside the Mordvanian Premier League and the Mordvanian national team, he knows well the Florinthian and other West Brigidnan football leagues, as many Mordvanian players signed up for Florinthian, Oslanburgan, Vallish, or Gehennan clubs in the last decade. He can offer a wide experience as national manager, as he did not miss any of the last three World Cups as Mordvanian managers, always qualifying the team for both the Brigidnan and SIFA tournaments and always advancing at least the group stage. His time as Mordvanian national manager was characterized for a mix of youth and experience, which may not bring results immediately but helped to develop a highly competitive team in the long-term able to remain competitive with minor changes in the squad.

Name: Radegund Nezamas
Age: 63
Nationality: Nerysian
Player experience: Professional Nerysian footballer (57 caps)
Clubs/Teams Managed: ex: FK Zemaita (1569 - 1579; 5 league titles, 3 cup titles), VFB Dinamo (1579 - 1582; 1 league title), Nerysian National men's team (1582 - 1587; 1 Brigidna Cup)

Bio: Radegund Nezamas is one of the most succesful club managers currently active in Nerysia, having led FK Zemaita during its years of dominance in the 1570's. Nezamas played for the club as a player, but in his years it was never as succesful as its main northern rival VFB Dinamo. After his player career, he attended the Nerysian football association's coaching university, where all Nerysian managers study all aspects of football coaching for 2 years. Afterwards, he began to coach the FK Zemaita Youth team, but was later appointed as its main coach. He brought the club to dominance, but after a few meagre years, he was signed by VFB Dinamo with a lucrative contract. After the dramatic World Cup in Angiris in 1582, Nezamas was appointed as the new head coach of the national team. He brought the national team a trophy in 1585, the Brigidna Cup, and in 1587 he reached the World Cup final, which Nerysia lost to Severyane. Nezamas then resigned, citing a desire to for a foreign adventure.

Preferred tactic: 4-3-1-2; Nezamas is a typical product of the Nerysian School, where pragmatism and flexibility are encouraged. Nezamas prefers to adapt to his opponents, and tends to adopt a ''wait-and-see'' mentality. His highly organized and disciplined teams keep their guard up, seldomly take high risks, and rather wait for one or two opportunities or mistakes to exploit. He favours a 4-3-1-2 formation because it deploys four central midfielders, helping to maintain ball possession in midfield, while the three defensive midfielders can shield the defenders, with three attacking players looking for opportunities to score. If necessary however, Nezamas will switch to other formations depending on the situation. The means justify the end for Nezamas. Critics have labelled his teams as boring and cynical.

Vision: Nezamas believes the Florinthian team is struggling defensively, but he also believes that this can be overcome through hard work and preparation. He would probably opt for a standard 3-5-2 formation, which has built-in tactical flexibility, being able to both attack and defend in large numbers. Bringing many players into all phases of playing, Nezamas believes, would compensate for any lack in quality that the individual players may have. The back-three defense would also provide more compactness in the central areas, making it easier to defend. It does require practice to learn to operate in a 3-5-2 for the players, but Nezamas is confident that many Florinthian players are sufficiently familiar with that system to make it work for the next big tournament.

RE: Florinthian manager vacancy - BrumBrum - 10-11-2017

Name:Thomas Murphy
Age:56
Nationality:Florinthian
Player experience:Thomas Murphy was one of the top midfielders in the Goldecian Premier League playing for Royal Abbott FC and ultimately going on to become manager of the team where he remains to this day leading one of the most successful teams in Goldecia.He was the main CM from 1554-1567(CM from 1552-1554)
Clubs/Teams Managed: 19 years Royal Abbott FC(1568-present) He has won 11 titles for the team as well as 13 domestic cups
BioThomas Murphy was recruited at 18 into the academy system for Royal Abbott FC where he quickly established himself as a main team player in the midfield and was selected as captain regularly. He would go on to be seen as the best midfielder of the decade in Goldecia. He played as the main CM from 1554-1567 regularly getting the most assists in a season. After that he then became manager upon retirement a role which he seemingly has been good at favouring attacking play be it 4-3-3 or 3-4-3
Preferred tactic:4-3-3 3-4-3 Attacking
Vision: He envisions at least reaching the finals of the world cup or a major cup and believes in strong development of youth talent blending this with experienced players. He would bring a more attacking flair to the strategy in Florinthus's game.
