Forum Use
This forum is dedicated to factbooks for states whose users aren't interested in using the Wiki.

Organization
You may create as many threads as you want--but they must all be prefixed with the short name of the country. Examples: Lanlania: Factbook; Lanlania: Military; Lanlania: Demographics; Germany: Religion; France: Government. You are, however, not required to separate everything into district threads--you may toss it all under one if you are so inclined. The purpose of prefixing the threads is so that all of a country's threads may remain together in this shared forum. And if the subject is rather limited, it would indeed be better to have it under the main thread.

Please note: while all subthreads should have the above prefix, the primary Factbook is exempt; instead, it should follow the standardization below.

Basic/Single-thread Factbook
For standardization purposes, please follow the following regulations.

Thread Subject should be "<country name>, the <government form> of"; examples:
  • Germany, the Federal Republic of
  • Spain, the Kingdom of
  • Great Britain and Northern Ireland, The United Kingdom of
  • America, the United States of
Of course, if this format is not compatible with your country's official name, use said name instead. As in:
  • Canada
  • The French Republic
  • The Russian Federation
  • The United Mexican States
This is to help maintain an easily accessible list ordered alphabetically by the country's name. Failure to follow this standard will earn you an angrily worded letter.

You are encouraged to use the following basic factbook in the first post of your thread, though you are free to expand on it:
