They are an Arch Duchy who mange to split off from Nerysia in the 19th century though the use of diplomacy. Most of their technology is around standard tech level. Their culture prizes success in fields of diplomacy and the social sciences. The people of the Archduke's council is appointed on merit and not status.

Brief description of your country The C.T. is a tropical nation founded through revolution. Once a tyrannical government, a revolutionary led countless thousands of citizens and some military and overthrew the cruel dictatorship. Now a nation of civil rights and political freedoms, the C.T. is an armed republic where everyone serves at least two years on the national military and once out, they remain part of the national guard until the age of fifty. The military is a very influential entity in the nation and to serve in politics, one must have been the rank of Major (If Army or Air Force) or Captain (If Navy). If compared to real life nations it would be Colombia mixed with Brazil mixed with America. Technologically it is focused on military then electronics then medical.

Brief Summary of how you'd like your country to fit in the world We are a newer nation with a very militaristic approach to things but with vast natural resources, we're trying to also become more economically powerful. Not warmongering but defense is the biggest budgeted expense.
